dDAS is a compact multi-channel (96 CH, 16 bits, 200 kSPS) DAQ (Data Acquisition) system which has been developed based on FPGA over PCIe data bus. It is the modular system which consists of 5 modules (boards) - SIB (Sensor Interface Board), DAB (Data Acquisition Board), DCB (Data Control Board), DSB (Data Storage Board), and EIB (External Interface Board). Each module is integrated on the backplane board in accordance with a VITA-74 standard specification so that it can be configured and controlled easily to meet requirements of system.
Especially Data Control Software (DCS) is provided to control and store collected ADC data conveniently in GUI windows.
It can be used in several fields - aircraft test instrument, engine inspection equipment, and Gas/Oil pipeline inspection robots, etc.
dDAS is currently applied for PIG equipment for Gas pipeline inspection.
